Dutkarta hai har koi tujhe is chaman mein,
Kya tera koi nahin itne bardhe vatan mein?
Pukarega tujhe kaun, tu burha ho chuka,
Duniya ki nazar me tu, apna saans kho chuka
Dukh na laga dil ko, duniya ki yeh reet hai,
Gum na, dum laga kadam badha isme he teri jeet hai.
Dollat ke lalach mein tune kya kya kama liya
Jab chor ke hi jana hai to itna kyoon bhaar liya,
Ab jab per larkhara gai rishton ki kyoon lagai aas
Dil ka sahara to sirf khudi hai yehi bujhaigi teri pyaas.
Zindagi ki buland boli mein karta raha kaam tu
Bikhre rangon ki holi mein, kamata raha naam tu
Ab jab khel ruk gaya, ashayon ka jhanda jhuk gaya
Apni ruh ki jhalak ko dekh zara, ruh ki kalam ko pakar zara
Aur likhde kahani dusri apni, samhe abhi bhi hai tera.
Second Story
You are unloved in this beautiful place,
Don't you have someone that loves you in this big nation?
Why will anybody think of you? You have grown old!
In the eyes of the world you have lost your breath.
Don't take it to heart, this is the way of the world.
Don't feel sad, put effort, take a step, and in that is your victory.
For the greed of money, look what all you earned
But if you were going to leave it all behind, why did you take this burden?
Now that you are stumbling, why are you hoping for relationships to help?
Your own self is what your heart should lean on; self is only thing that will take your care.
In life's vigorous flow, you kept working
You pursued fame among the different colors of life
Now that the game is coming to an end,
The flag of desire is at half mast,
Look within your soul, get hold of your soul's pen
And start writing your Second Story. You still have time.
